OUR PLAY BARN “THE COW SHED” AND SHOP

We have our very own 90ft long play barn, we call “The Cow Shed” which is accessible 24 hours a day. In it you will find everything you need to keep children of all ages entertained, table tennis, pool, board games, darts, vintage arcade games machine, table football, and also a running machine.

The Cow Shed also houses a snacks and drinks vending machine and our honesty shop, where you can buy local preserves, and staples, such as pastas, sauces, oils, jams and pickles, as well as logs, kindling and eco firelighters. In the honesty shop freezer you will find local meats, pasties and pies. You keep a tally of your purchases in the honesty shop book. The charity donation washing machine is also located here.

For those wishing to charge their devices, we have numerous sockets scattered around The Shed and a place to recharge your four rechargeable lanterns, with the charging area located in the shop area. For your peace of mind, we have security cameras set up inside The Cow Shed for the safety of your belongings and also security cameras in the parking area, where you will find The Wellie Washer boot cleaning trough and Car Wash Area.

For those looking for nostalgia, we have a record player set up in The Cow Shed, with a collection of albums to choose from, or why not bring your own favourite albums and singles with you to play.

We have 3 electric bicycles which are available to hire allowing you to explore the surrounding countryside at your leisure, but these must be pre-booked. Safety gear is not provided.

Electric bike hire: half day (4 hours) – £35 / full day (daylight hours) £50. Payment can be made to Henry during or after your stay with us.

At one end of “The Cow Shed” is our relaxation area, where you will find a large library of books to while away the time or catch up on a movie from our video library. Or explore our games cabinet where we house a multitude of board games to suit all ages. Outside at one end of “The Cow Shed” we have our sun deck with wooden benches and tables that overlooks Troney Valley towards the distant rolling hills.

After dark, with the flick of a switch, “The Cow Shed” can turn into a kaleidoscope of colours with our revolving disco ball.
